Student Activities
The Student Activities Office is student-centered, and provides Bowdoin students with leadership development opportunities via more than 100 student-run organizations and various types of cocurricular programming.
Student Center for Multicultural Life
Multicultural life at Bowdoin College is defined by the efforts of our student organizations. The groups not only provide support and understanding for their members, but also bring new cultural and religious perspectives to the entire Bowdoin campus.
Sexuality, Women, and Gender Center (SWAG)
SWAG cultivates a campus environment in which women and queer people feel safe, valued, and supported through academic, cocurricular, and personal development. The director and student directors collaborate with students, faculty, and staff from across campus to offer diverse, relevant programming for Bowdoin community members of all genders and orientations.

Title IX is an anti-discriminatory federal regulation that prohibits any type of gender-based discrimination in educational settings.
Baldwin Center for Learning and Teaching
Bowdoin’s Baldwin Center for Learning and Teaching houses the Baldwin Mentors, the Quantitative Reasoning Program, The Writing Project, and English for Multilingual Speakers. These programs support learning and teaching across the curriculum through peer tutoring, writing assistance, study groups, and academic mentoring.
